AzACDA Update on COVID-19 and Festivals

The High School Festival scheduled for March 31st has been canceled and refunds are being issued. In addition, the Junior High-Middle School scheduled for May 1st is now canceled. This is, of course, our effort to prevent community spread of COVID-19. We appreciate you and are sorry that we cannot host choral festivals this year. We look forward to providing robust High School and Junior High festivals for you in 2021.

Higley Center for the Performing Arts

Please download the “Director’s Letter” below for details and submit your registration using the link below. Make sure that the name of your school appears on the district PO (see below for where to send the PO) so that we can differentiate between multiple schools from the same district. The registration cost per ensemble is $150 (plus $50 if the director is not an AzACDA member).

ANY HIGH SCHOOL CHOIR can participate!

Choirs that participated in the 2019 ACE Fall High School Festival and received a rating of “Superior with Distinction” or “Excellent with Distinction” are guaranteed a chance to participate in the State Festival. Choirs who did not participate or qualify in the fall will be scheduled on a first-come first-served basis.



  • March 3, 2020
  • March 27, 2020 – Payment Deadline. The cost is $150 per ensemble. If you are not a member of AzACDA, there is an additional $50 non-member fee to participate.
